Why I am so facinated with space:
If you asked me as a kindergartner what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer would have been, "astronaut." My father would set up his telescopes in the driveway on clear nights. I grew up gazing at the Milky Way through a ten foot long telescope on a chilly black night, finding the Big Dipper, following the arc to Arcturus, and letting my imagination run wild on the moon.
What I've read recently:
Ash and Huntress by Malinda Lo
Imposter Queen, Cursed Queen and True Queen by Sarah Fine
Abyss Surrounds Us and Edge of the Abyss by Emily Skrutskie
Honor Among Thieves by Rachel Caine
Ready Player One by Earnest Cline
Otherworld by Jason Segel
That Inevitable Victorian Thing by E.K. Johnson
Favorite place to write:
In the sunroom of my house overlooking the backyard.
